If transportation links are your concerns, then you should drop the idea of renting in this project but go for other projects with better connectivity.

Child care facilities or montessori schools are present islandwide subject to availability of spaces therefore you may list that as 1 of the lower concerns.

Where is your office located if I may ask to make some suitable suggestions?

Connectivity at Costa Rhu is quite limited. Perhaps you would like to consider other locations with better connectivity to your work place as well as nearby to schools for your son.

If work takes you to CBD and Alexandra, your might want to consider District 9 and 3.

there are abundant rental units there, and Montessori is available there too.

In terms of connectivity, you might surely face difficulties in commuting. Having said that, Costa Rhu is an expat choice. So I suppose it really boils down to your lifestyle preference and what can be a trade off in the midst. I am currently representating a landlord in the rental of his 3BR there and am familiar with the development.
